Cold Ashby Parish Council has received an award from Daventry District Council of £5,025 as a contribution towards refurbished and renewed streetlights in the village, and the Village Hall has been granted £5,000 from the windfarm fund to overhaul the electrics and the heating system. Work in the village hall will be started shortly and the streetlights issue will be discussed at the annual village assembly meeting in May. Work on the streetlights will take place, it is hoped, during the summer/autumn 2019.
