War Memorial

Cllr Colin Fry (Vice-Chairman) laid a wreath on the war memorial tablet outside All Saints Church on Sunday 13th November 2011 towards the end of Holy Communion service to commemorate Remembrance Day.  Cllr Kevin Binley (Chairman) had paid a moving tribute to the men whose names are listed on the war memorial tablet when he laid a wreath in their honour last year.  Cllr Binley had researched details such as the men’s ages when they died, where and when they served and if they are buried at home or overseas.  These details have now been collated and are available in the library.
