WELCOME TOHANNINGTON PARISH COUNCIL'S WEBSITE
The Parish Council meets in the village hall at 7.15pm on the first Tuesday of each month, with the exception of August. During August Parish Councillors walk the village to identify any repairs or maintenance that require attention.
It represents an electoral role of 216 residents, with a key objective of maintaining the heritage and framework of the village, whilst creating a sustainable community environment. During 2011-12 we will engage with our local Community Policing Team to ensure that the revised speeding measures implemented by the Parish Council gain maximum benefit. We will also call upon the resources of our Community Policing Team to assist us in all aspects of crime prevention. Quality Parish Council status was acheived at the Accreditation Panel's September 2011 meeting. The Affordable Housing development will be ready for occupation in August. The Parish Coucil in conjuction with the Housing Association intend to form a small committee which will agree the Connection Criteria for occupation.
Villagers are always welcome to attend any Parish Council meeting to witness first hand the issues facing the village together with those in the wider community that also have an impact.
