Pegswood is a small ex mining village east of Morpeth with a growing population. 

The parish has an electoral roll of approximately 3,500 residents.

The Parish Council is made up of nine members of the community who care very much about Pegswood's well-being and give their time and efforts free of charge.

We provide opportunities for residents to influence decisions and take heed of their needs and aspirations.

To serve and make decisions for the Community, with a commitment to improve the quality of life in the Parish, within the parameters laid down for local councils by central government.

The councillors for Pegswood are very active within the community and can be contacted via the Clerk to the Council or from the members page.
