Welcome to the
Plumtree Parish Council website

Plumtree is a small village (with a population of around 230) and is located 5 miles south-east of Nottingham, just off the A606.
Plumtree’s Parish Church is dedicated to St. Mary the Virgin and was founded in the ninth century. It is one of the oldest churches in the county.

In addition, the village has a pre-school nursery based at the Burnside Memorial Hall and Plumtree School, an independent primary school.

There is The Griffin at Plumtree, a gastro-pub, and also a restaurant in the converted railway station (Perkins Restaurant & The Carriage Hall event venue).
We also have a very active Cricket Club.
