Next Parish Council Meeting - 6th October
Owing to the exceptional circumstances occuring at the moment, we will continue holding Parish Council Meetings in an online mode. We can now connect the general public into these meetings by allowing access within the IT package we are using. We always ensure that any input from residents is fully considered. The agenda for each meeting is published here, as per usual. Anyone wishing to make a statement about an agenda item should can do so via our contact page, here and we will also give you the details of how to join in the meeting. Please have any statment ready by mid day of the day before the Council meeting. If you don't have access to IT euipment that will allow you to join us we will ensure that your statement is read out. Should you wish to receive a copy of the soundtrack of the meeting then again you can contact our office for this.
Please note that this is not an advice page - if you are unsure about what to do in the current circumstances surrounding this epidemic you should refer to the NHS website here.
If you are self isolating either due to symptoms of the virus or your underlying medical conditions then we have set up a help line where you may be able to get support with shopping for groceries, picking up prescriptions etc. We have a number of volunteers who will get back in touch with you.
The number to contact is 07932698780
Needless to say we can only help people who live in Portbury, which includes Sheepway, Elm Tree Park, Moorgate, and Caswell Lane.
A very BIG thankyou to all of those who have made themselves available to help. If you can do something to help in any way by joining our volunteer group then use the contact form on this site.
We very much hope that you all will stay fit and healthy through this crisis.
