Pavements
24 March 2008

Pavements on Old Road and High Street

Atkins will be resurfacing the pavements on Old Road and the upper part of the High Street and replacing the kerb stones in parts to bring the pavement to a suitable level.

Work is due to start in early April and will last up to five weeks.

Access to properties will not be affected during this time. Please be patient while the work is taking place.

Road Resurfacing
24 February 2008
Road resurfacing

The Parish Council is aware of the major concerns about the recently resurfaced side roads which have tended to become sheet ice during cold weather; Atkins have been out to investigate. The Parish Council has passed concerns onto Cllr Seery, Cabinet Member of Northants CC for Highways, Northants CC Highways Department, Atkins, County & District Councillors, our MP and the company that undertook the work.

We hope that remedial action will be taken asap.

In the meantime please take extreme care when walking or driving on the side roads during icy conditions and cold weather.
