Planning Meeting

An extraordinary meeting of Scaldwell Parish Council took place on Monday 1st February at 7.30pm in the village hall, Scaldwell.

The main agenda items were to consider the planning applications DA/2010/0024 and DA/2010/0030 (details below).

Salt Bins

The grit in the Northamptonshire CC Highways salt bins located on the green and East End is for use on public highways and footpaths and is not for use on private drives / footpaths.

Welcome Pack for newcomers to Scaldwell

The Parish Council has updated the Welcome Pack for newcomers to Scaldwell. It contains information about local organisations, local shops and general useful information about living in Scaldwell. A copy is available for download from the Minutes & Agendas webpage under Newsletter. 

Council Budget

At the statutory meeting held 25th November the Parish Council set its budget for 2010 / 2011 and the precept for 2010 / 2011. A precept of £11250 has been requested which is an increase of £250 (2.2%) from 2009/10. Details of the budget can be downloaded from the Minutes/Agendas webpage under Council Policies.
