Walton netball Club was founded by two village residents five years ago with only one ball and one team, now it has two Somerset league teams, one in the third division and one going into the first division.

Coach Danielle Higgs said" I am very proud of all the hard work both teams have put in this year, we may be a small Club but we have a lot of determination and heart which has contributed to this years success. Next season we will be in the first division and we welcome support from local residents on match days to come and cheer both teams on in what will be a very exciting season".

We are looking to recruit new players for the next season and if anyone is interested in joining our league teams, training is CURRENTLY [2016] on Monday nights  6.30pm - 7.30pm.

We are also running a pay and play session for all ages and abilities, who would just like to turn up and play for fun, its also a great way to keep fit, this is already up and running and is on Monday nights 7.30pm- 8.30pm fee is £2 a session.

We are also looking for a B award umpire for our division one matches, willing to pay £20 per match and give lift to matches.

Please contact Danielle Higgs for more information on danielle@dhiggs.wanadoo.co.uk or just turn up on Monday.
