Police Report

From the rural beat police team:

A burglary was reported to us which occurred sometime during the evening of Friday 25th February, where by unknown person(s) have gained entry through a window, which had been left open at the rear of the victims property, and a search of bedroom drawers has taken place, whilst occupants of the property were watching television and jewellery and credit cards have been stolen.

        Please can I ask all residents to make sure that any doors or windows are secured as best as possible and not left open unnecessarily. Any person who knocks at your door, we encourage to ask to check identification and never let anyone into your property unless you are 100 percent happy with who they are. If need be, please contact police immediately, quoting operation fox, and ask for a police unit to attend, to check these people out.
