Councillors from Whessoe Parish Council present a new piece of equipment to St Mark's Preschool Playgroup.

Whessoe Parish Council decided to donate the 'Mirror House' to the Playgroup because over the years many children from the Parish have benefited from this marvellous facility. Currently a number of Whessoe Parish children enjoy the Playgroup and hopefully this will continue for many years to come.
Playgroup Manager Mrs Christine Nicholson said' ' The children and staff are so grateful to Whessoe Parish Council for the new piece of equipment,  it will give the children so much enjoyment in finding out about themselves, providing them with new stimulating experiences, one way will be looking at themselves and seeing the multiple reflections and by helping them  to develop their communication and imagination.  .''

Saturday 27th February - The floor is now complete and Classes are back to normal.

Work has now started relpacing the floor of the Hall. We hope to re open 1st March.

The old floor has now been removed as shown in the picture above
