Judging has now taken place and winners will be notified by the end of June 2009. The decision of the judges is final. First (£100), second (£50) and third (£25) prizes may be awarded in each category. The overall winner will be awarded a trophy. The award ceremony will be held at the Worplesdon Pavilion at 7.30pm on Tuesday 14th July 2009. Photographs chosen for exhibition will be displayed at the Wood Street Village Summer Show on Saturday 18th July 2009. Further exhibitions may be arranged by the Parish Council throughout the year. Copyright will remain with the photographer but the Parish Council claims the right to use any prize-winning entries in publicity material, exhibitions and publications, including postcards and greeting cards with no fee obligations or copyright restriction. The approach has been to research how progress has been made in other parts of the country and apply the results to the County of Surrey.
