Welcome to the Arncott Parish Council Website
On this website you can find out all the things that are happening in the village along with many parish council matters. As this page grows we'll be adding more content. If there is any information you find on here that is incorrect, please let us know. If there is something you feel is missing or would like included, again, please let us know.
In the meantime, if you wish to contact the parish council, then feel free come along to the meetings which are on the first Tuesday of every month where we have public participation at the end of the meeting. These meetings are held in the village hall between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. If you'd like something brought up in the parish council meeting, then please feel free to email us.
The parish council is made up of volunteers who give their time and effort freely. If you contact us outside of the meetings we will endeavour to reply to you as soon as we can but sometimes our day jobs will get in the way!
Bin collection days in the village are on a Wednesday. The bins are collected on alternate weeks with green bins one week and brown and blue the following week. More information can be found on the Cherwell District Councils website.
If you forget to put your bins out, don't worry as you can just call CDC on 01295 227 001 and organise another pick up. It will not cost you anything to do this but it has to meet the criteria set out by CDC. For more information regarding missed bin collection please contact CDC on the above number.
The S5 goes through the village regularly. The latest timetable can be found here.
If you have any information about any crimes around our village, then you can always call 101 or email the Bicester Rural policing team. You can also visit their website for more details here.
