**COVID 19**

The Parish Council continues to operate during these unprecedented times.  However, Parish Council meetings will not take place until Government advice on social distancing changes.  There are decisions that still need to be made and a register of these decisions is available on the link below.  If you require further information on any of these decisions, please contact the Clerk.

Welcome to the website of Crantock Parish Council.

Crantock Parish lies on the North Coast of Cornwall, approximately 2 miles South West of Newquay and includes the village of Crantock and the hamlet of West Pentire.  It is part of the St. Agnes and Perranporth Community Network Area.

Crantock iself can be traced back to 460AD and the name comes from St. Carantoc who founded the village.  It is a hidden gem and includes 3 pubs, 2 churches, cafes and tearooms, a post office and a general store.  Large parts of the Parish are owned by the National Trust.  The village centre is a designated Conservation Area whilst West Pentire Headland is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and boasts many rare species of plants and flowers.

The aim of this website is to provide up to date information on the work of Crantock Parish Council.  We hope that you enjoy browsing our site and if you have any comments please contact us via the form on the feedback.asp page.
