WELCOME TOHANNINGTON PARISH COUNCIL'S WEBSITE
The Parish Council meets in the village hall at 7.15pm on the first Tuesday of each month, with the exception of August. During August Parish Councillors walk the village to identify any repairs or maintenance that require attention.
It represents an electoral role of 233 residents, with a key objective of maintaining the heritage and framework of the village, whilst creating a sustainable community environment. During 2011-12 we acheived Quality Parish Council status, the six property affordable housing development - Lime Trees Close and the revamping of the "Silver Jubilee Rose Bed" for the "Diamond Jubilee" were both completed. Looking forward to 2012-13 the Parish Council will be focusing on the maintenance of the village roads, creatinn of a village sign/plaque and forging a closer working relationshio with the police in an effort to reduce crime in the village.
Villagers are always welcome to attend any Parish Council meeting to witness first hand the issues facing the village together with those in the wider community that also have an impact.
