Groups & Activities
Anyone who enjoys needle or craft work of any variety is welcome and their expertise would be of interest to the group. Stitchers is a friendly self-help group and offer help (if required) to anyone who has not picked up a needle for years. Optional workshops are held on a regular basis. Occasionally a guest speaker will give a talk and/or demonstration on a particular technique. Trips are organised to local craft shops and exhibitions.

HEDDON CARPET BOWLS
Handbell Tune Ringing
You are invited to come to have fun making music with others. Several willing recruits would be welcomed by bells which are waiting patiently to be played, and you do not need to be a music reader to get started. A taster session can be arranged so that you can find out what is involved and you could then decide whether you want to go on to be part of this team activity. Tune ringing on handbells is alive and well in some parts of the country www.hrgb.org.uk - it would be good to see it being enjoyed in this area.
