I have lived in the village for over 30 years and initially worked in agriculture, but have now been teaching in local primary schools for the past 16 years. I am currently Head of School at Caston Primary School. I am married and have two children, who have both been to school in the village and are now starting on their own careers.
As a family we have always been involved with and supported village events, and my wife continues to work in the local school.
I have been involved with the Parish Council for a number of years and am the vice chair. I feel it is important that the Parish Council represents all the views of the villagers in a fair and balanced way, particularly in these challenging and uncertain times.
