Lynemouth is in the county of Northumberland in the North East of England, between the City of Newcastle upon Tyne and the Scottish Borders. The village itself is close to the North Sea coast and surrounding towns include Ashington, Morpeth, Blyth and Cramlington.
Access by Road: The village of Lynemouth has good road access via the A189 “spine road” dual carriageway and the A197. The A189 links Newcastle upon Tyne to the main towns of south east Northumberland and it connects directly with the A19 Trunk Road which in turn gives access to the A1 and the national strategic highway network. The nearest dual carriageway is the A189.
