Campaign to Protect Rural England Open Meeting
06 October 2011

A public open meeting is being held at St Mary's Centre, Market Place, Lichfield on Thursday October 6th at 7.30pm.

Keynote speaker is Phil Goode, CPRE Staffordshire's leading planning expert, who has advised CPRE on many of the most contentious planning issues.

Comment from CPRE:

Planning pressures - housing sprawl, widn turbines and now High Speed Rail are threatening Staffordshire's unique countryside as never before. Responding to urgent calls to try to halt this unprecedented planning wave the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) is seeking to bring together the many voices from a wide range of concerned organisations and individuals. Invitees include national and local politicians of all political persuasions and many organisations concerned with the countryside, environment and wildlife.
