New Committee Members the Reading Room is pleased to welcome three new committee members following our AGM in April. They are Dorothy and Lee Puchala and Gemma Murphy.

Our Easter Coffee Morning this year was a great success, thanks to all who supported us. A Tombola stall was organised and run by Chloe Smith from Over Dinsdale. She raised a superb £77. Chloe, a sixth form student at QE had requested our help to support her fundraising activities for the QE World Challenge Cup. This October a group of students are making a trip to Borneo trekking through the rain forest to work with the local community to support them in improving aspects of their living conditions and helping to build an enclosure for endangered Sun Bears. Chloe has undertaken several other fundraising activities and Neasham Reading Room was delighted to support her in this. We wish her and the team the best of luck in their venture. Anyone requiring further information can contact Chloe on 01325 332004
