A big big thank you to residents that took the time to complete the survey. The information is being analysed and will hopefully be presented at the next Parish Council meeting on September 1. The response was very good and the data will be invaluable as we plan the future of our village

THE OLD BUCKENHAM NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN RESIDENT’S SURVEY
Old Buckenham Parish Council have set up a working party to generate a Neighbourhood Plan. These plans are the local element of the process of regional development, the other key document is the Breckland Local Plan.
While the plan cannot stop development prescribed in the Local Plan, it can modify development ie decide where development will be located and how the development will look. We can also use the plan to create our own development.
This plan will be based on what YOU want, not what the Parish council wants, so it is crucial that the working party fully understand your thoughts on how Old Buckenham will develop.
To do this we are carrying out a survey of all residents of our village, the surveys will be hand delivered to your home and there will be a survey form for every individual in your household (16 and over), younger residents will get their opportunity to input through events held at our schools.
So, please, please take a little time to complete the survey, return it to the collection points in the village (shop, pubs, village Hall)
