Councillor Tracy Gilmore was re-elected unopposed as Chair/Mayor of Prudhoe Town Council for the coming Council year.

Councillor Chris Cuthbert, previously Vice-Chair of the Planning, Contract and Works Committee was elected Vice-Chair of the Council.

Councillor Jennifer McGee was re-elected Chair of the Council's Planning, Contract and Works Committee.

Councillor Duncan Couchman was elected Vice-Chair of the Council's Planning, Contract and Works Committee.

At the meeting last night the Town Council also declared a vacancy in the Castledene & Eltringham Ward, details will follow separately.
