24 January 2024Byrness substation

Aware that the Byrness substation is not as yet operational the Parish Council has written to Northern Powergrid requesting that they hold an open meeting for the residents of Byrness.

The request is that they post to all residents advising the time and date of a meeting at Byrness Village Hall where they can provide not only the latest position but timescsales for full operations and the recommended action to take during a power outage when the substation 'kicks-in'.

It is hoped residents of Byrness will hear from Northern Powergrid in the near future.
