Parish Council Grants
St. Newlyn East Parish Council recognizes the importance of supporting local groups and organisations. There are two grant schemes are available:
St. Newlyn East Community Grant Scheme
This scheme is available to voluntary, charitable and non-profit making organisations in St. Newlyn East Parish. Grants are awarded at the March and October meetings of the Full Council and are typically between £100 - £500. In the past, the Parish Council has awarded grants to groups including St. Newlyn East Village Hall Committee, St. Newlyn East Pre-School, St. Newlyn East Feast Day Committee, Cool Kids and St. Newlyn East Band. Carland Cross Community Fund
The Carland Cross Community Fund is a Parish Council administered fund of £40,000 per annum, until 2018, arising from the Carland Cross Windfarm which is paid by Scottishpower. The aim of this fund is to support projects that will leave a lasting legacy for the future generations of St. Newlyn East. Grants will be awarded at the March and October meetings of the Full council and applications are welcome from organisations within St. Newlyn East Parish.
