Two new members joined the council on Monday night. Cllr Polly Smith, who has served on the council for a number of years, had not put herself up for election in case others in the village wanted to stand. However, when there were 2 vacancies, she tried for co-option and was successful.
Cllr Pam Manley has also been a councillor a few years ago. The Parish Council welcomes them both.
Another gentleman was up for co-option but wasn't successful on this occasion. Hopefully he will put himself forward, if a future vacancy arises.
The Parish Council meetings are always open to the public (please wear a mask and sanitise your hands, keeping away from other members of the public) and everyone is very welcome. The next meeting is the second Monday in July at the Village Institute.
