Public Consultation on Potential Housing Development Sites in the Parish

Darlington Borough Council will be holding public consultation event on the Making and Growing Places: Preferred Options Document  for residents in the Parish in Whessoe Parish Hall on Thursday 18th July, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The draft document sets out the Council’s view on the amount, type and location of new development in the Borough over the coming years.

The draft plan identifies potential housing development sites in the Parish.  These potential sites are:

North of the White Horse Pub/Hotel and

South of 22-24, Burtree Lane.

The following sites are close to the Parish boundaries:

Glebe Road North and

East of the A167 opposite the White Horse

The public consultation period provides residents and organisations with an opportunity to tell the Borough Council what they think about proposals that may be important to them. The consultation period is running from Friday 21 June 2013 to Friday 2 August 2013.
