At its meeting held on the 29th January, 2015 Darlington Borough Council decided that Whessoe Parish would not be subject to a Community Governance Review.  The Parish Council had previously made a submission to the Borough Council that a Review would not be necessary because the Parish would continue to be served by two Borough Council wards.  We have expressed our grateful thanks to Darlington Borough Council.
