Latest on the highway works
Main Street should be open again from around 23rd December and will remain so for the Christmas period until 5th January. After that, Stanford Road will be closed for 5-6 days and then it will be the turn of West Haddon Road to be closed. All dates are subject to revision due to unforeseen difficulties, which have been common so far.
Church Lane has been officially closed to all but residents and those needing access to residents. The police will monitor the position. The warnings on the A5199 and at the Guilsbprough juncti0n have been strengthened. The police are very concerned at the way the signs are being disregarded.
