A property in Breckles was broken into last week.

Thieves entered a workshop and garage, stealing various items. The police have attended and taken fingerprints, but as yet, no news as to who the offenders may have been.

Luckily the owners were not at home, so not endangered. They have now increased the motion-activated lights around their home, and are considering CCTV.

The police warn that as the nights draw in, thefts from outbuildings tend to increase, and so villagers are warned to be extra vigilant.
