The Parish Council have been awarded a grant of £3,834 by the Big Lottery Fund to lay a new floor to replace the one which failed in 2011 in Whessoe Parish Hall.

Parish Clerk Alan Macnab stated "The Parish Council are delighted to receive this much needed award which allows the Parish Hall to be re-opened again and used by community groups and for classes and activities.  We would like to thank the Big Lottery Fund for making an award."
