Welcome to Whilton Parish Council

The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th May 2024, and will be held at 7:30pm in the Village Hall.  A copy of the agenda is available to view here a few days before the meeting.

The Annual Parish Meeting will also take place on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 6:30pm in the Village Hall, and annual reports will be provided from the Parish Council, West Northants Council and from the local groups and charities. Refreshments will be available.

If you would like to sign up to the village circulation list, which means you will receive news items that affect the village.  Please send an e-mail to the Clerk.

You can find all the Council's documents e.g. agendas, minutes, financial statements, policies, etc. on the 'Library' page in the Menu.

Agendas are issued 3 clear working days prior to meetings, usually on the preceeding Thursday. Copies are posted on the 'Library' page in the menu, noticeboards on the Village Green and Whilton Locks as well as the village website http://www.whilton-village.net/parish-council/notices/

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings and have an opportunity to address council on agenda items, for no longer than 3 minutes. The period of time for public participation, which is at the Chairman’s discretion, shall not exceed 10 minutes. In accordance with the above, a question asked by a member of the public during a public participation session, shall not require a response or debate.  The Chairman may direct that a response to a question posed by a member of the public be referred to a Councillor for an oral response or to the Clerk for a written or oral response.
