Reighton Village Hall

The village hall is available for hire, to make a booking contact:

The hall is large, bright, clean, warm space with capacity for 60 people,

The hall is available for private hire from £12 per hour (£15 per hour with full use of the kitchen), Ideal for birthday parties, wedding partys, family celebrations, club meetings, coffee mornings, fitness sessions and social gatherings.

 

Speeton Natural Burial Ground

Up to 15 plots are allowed each year.

Plots may be reserved and paid for in advance by the over 60's

Coffins must be eco-friendly and bio-degradable

Ashes - caskets which are eco-friendly containing cremated remains from an approved crematorium may be interred.

Visitors welcome at all tiems with adequate car parking available

Speeton Village Association

This small group of residents do maintenance work on Speeton pond and maintain their flowerbeds.

They own a small field which local children use as a play area and local residents cuts the grass.

The Speeton Village Association is a Registered Charity No: 1081370

Trustees: Janet Coleman, David Jack, Kenneth Edward Willey, Andrea Byrom.

Reighton In Bloom

In 2016 Reighton in Bloom were awarded the coveted "All Muck & Magic" Best Social Gardeners Award"

At the 2017 awards Reighton in Bloom continued their success by winning the "Best Residential Gardens Award"

Queens Platinum Jubilee

Reighton in Bloom have planted a Rowan tree to celebrate this historic event.

on 5th June the tree planting was attended by around 25 local residents who toasted the Queen & sang the National anthem.

Mrs Jean Dawson got proceedings off to a start placing the first spade full in the hole.

A plaque had been gifted by Mrs Karen Hamilton-Smith:- "This tree was planted to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee 2022"
