Tyne Rivers Trust (TRT) had proposed to undertake the second stage of the coppicing on the area between Otterburn Green and the A68 on 22 October, 2025.

Unfortunately this has had to be postponed and will take place on Wednesday 5 November.

The third stage is due to happen in late 2026 and at that stage an assessment will be made as to the frequency of any future coppicing.
