Due to low usage numbers the existing operator, PCL Limited will no longer be running the Friday 815 service to Bellingham after 18 August.

There will be a replacement service that will be a demand response shared taxi arrangement. This will still be referred to as the 815 service.

The operator will be Bellingham & Humshaugh taxi (01434 220570). The new service will run from Byrness, Rochester, Otterburn, Elsdon, East & West Woodburn, Ridsdale to Bellingham, arriving in Bellingham for 10:00 and allow up to two hours before returning. Presently the times for each stop have not been published but the taxi service will be able to confirm timings.

Normal bus fares will apply and concessionary bus passes can still be used.

This revised service will begin from Friday 25 August.

To use this service you will need to call Bellingham and Humshaugh Taxis to initially register as a service user.  Thereafter to reserve a seat on the service each time you want to travel. Calls must be made the day before your journey.

If no advance bookings are received the service will not run.
