Changes to Household Waste Recovery Centres opening days
From 4 October the County Council are changing the opening days of some site. Berwick, Alnwick, Bebside, North Seaton, Morpeth, Prudhoe and Hexham will all be open seven days a week.
However North Sunderland, Wooler, Kirkley West Thorn (nr Ponteland), Allendale and Haltwhistle will be open four days a week. Those days will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
For all sites the opening hours are Winter – 1 November to 31 March 8.00am until 6.00pm and Summer 1 April to 31 October 8.00am until 7.30pm.
