On their exercise walks around Chillerton & Gatcombe, parish volunteers are surveying the verges to record how wildflowers emerge, flower & seed throughout the year.

This would be a good time to try something similar in Shorwell, and volunteers are needed to survey a short section of a local lane.

The website can be updated during the year to show photographs & information on "new"flowers.
