At the Council Meeting on 18 July, Karen O'Kane, Programme Director for the Better Broadband for Norfolk Project, gave a detailed presentation explaining how the Project would affect homes in the Parish. She also faced some very challenging questions.
The good news is that there are only 15 properties in the Parish which are so remote that BBfN has no current plans to do anything at all for them (although this is definitely not good news for those 15 dwellings). The bad news for all is that phase 2 of the roll-out, under which the Parish comes, will not be implemented until the end of 2018.
You can see a copy of the slides Karen was talking to by clicking here. Obviously this will not provide the full story, but there were a number of residents present to hear what was said, in addition to the Council members.
