THINGS TO DO IN CUBERT PARISH
Cubert has a modern (1970) village hall, which is located on the left of the village as you enter by road.
The main hall hosts many clubs. There is also a conference room, kitchen, and a further conference room.
A number of groups use the hall for; shortmat bowling, badminton, aerobics, football practice, group meetings, fund raising events, flea market, and of course monthly Parish Coumcil meetings.
There is an angling club within the village.
The parish is very well served by the Footpaths & Bridleways Association, who continually monitor and clear the paths within the parish boundaries.
Perhaps the largest local organisation found is the Holywell Bay Surf Life Saving Club.
The beach at Holywell is a surfing beach (see photo), and the local youngsters, augmented by visiting members make full use of the good surfing.
There is a surf clubhouse built into the dunes at Holywell.
During the summer months there are lifeguards at the beach who are based at the surf clubhouse.
