Parish Council meetings

The next Parish Council meeting will be on Wednesday 4 October, 2023 at 7.00pm.  This is scheduled to be held at BYRNESS Village Hall.

Should you wish to contribute to the meeting please contact the Parish Clerk at rochesterwithbyrnesspc@gmail.com.

The Agenda for the meeting can be found here or in the appropriate section of the 'Document Library' a few days before the meeting. 

Additionally a draft version of the minutes from the previous meeting are available to view within the 'Document Library'.

The Parish Council meet on the last Tuesday of every other month. Below are dates and locations for the next six meetings

30 January, 2024 @ Rochester Village Hall

26 March, 2024 @ Byrness Village Hall

28 May, 2024@ Rochester Village Hall (to include Annual Parish Meeting)

31 August 2023Millennium Fund for past Otterburn School pupils

The Millennium Fund, Otterburn 

The Millennium Fund, created in 2000 with funds raised by the people of Otterburn, provides small grants of between £200 & £300 to young people to help them begin life after school or set them off on a career path.

Applicants must have attended Otterburn First School and should say how they would use the grant if their application is successful. Grants awarded to date have helped purchase laptops or specialist equipment needed for college or work.

Readers are requested to pass on this information to qualifying young people they know. To receive an application form, please contact Susan Corbett at girsonfield@outlook.com .

Northumberland County Council are trialing a new mobile library van during summer of 2023 and welcome feedback.

The feedback can be given in variety ways as detailed on attached.
