Walking/Cycling
There are many paths, bridle ways and permissive paths in the parish. These include the Worsley Trail, which runs from east to west from Northcourt Down to Fore Down, and the Shepherd’s Trail running from north east to south west from Billingham to Shepherd’s Chine.
The quiet lanes around Shorwell, Yafford & Atherfield make good cycling routes and there is a marked route to Brighstone which avoids the busier roads.
