The bridge has now been out of action for some time, and the condition has deteriorated to the extent that it will need to be removed or replaced.

The Parish Council has taken the view that this iconic structure should be preserved, and have been involved in the past few months in exploring local options to create a new structure.

The Parish Council would like to discuss this situation with local residents, and there will be an opportunity to do this at the next meeting which will be in the Village Hall on 1st July at 7:00.

The possibility of grant funding to cover part of the costs is being explored, together with local fund raising or sponsorship, and if you have any questions/concerns/ideas, please come along to meet the Parish Council.
