Permission has now been granted for the removal and replacement of the footbridge.

This is subject to Technical Approval from Island Roads, and an Arboreal Method Statement to confirm that no trees will be affected by the removal and installation.

Consideration of the  loan which was requested to help finance the work was put on hold until planning permission was granted, and it is hoped that the review process can now be re-commenced.
