Bedford BC will be implementing a one way prohibition and temporary road closures at the above location to facilitate carriageway patching work. Details are listed in the schedule below.
The alternative routes for diverted traffic are as shown below and will be signed accordingly. The restrictions are to be in operation only when the necessary signs are erected on site. The Legal Order will be made to cover a four month period; however, it is anticipated that the prohibition and closures will be in operation between 2100hrs and 0600hrs on 5 nights from Monday 19th June 2017 to the morning of Saturday 24th June 2017 – Specific dates will be advertised locally closer to the time.

Length Affected By Temporary One Way Prohibition:
- Paula Radcliffe Way, Clapham (the A6) – Prohibits vehicles from proceeding northbound from the roundabout adjoining Clapham Road, Bedford, to the end of the dual carriageway.
Lengths Affected By Temporary Road Closures:
- Paula Radcliffe Way, Clapham (the A6) – The northbound exit/entry slip roads leading to and from Oakley Road, Clapham.
Paula Radcliffe Way, Clapham (the A6) – The northbound exit/entry slip roads leading to and from Highfield Road, Oakley.

Alternative Route (One Way Prohibition): Proceed in a south-easterly direction along Clapham Road, Bedford, to the roundabout adjoining Manton Lane. Take the 1st exit and continue along Manton Lane and then Brickhill Drive to Kimbolton Road (the B660). Turn left and follow the B660 to Thurleigh Road, Ravensden. Turn left and continue along Thurleigh Road and then Mill Road, Thurleigh, to Milton Road, Thurleigh. Turn left and continue to Thurleigh Road, Sharnbrook. Turn right and continue to the roundabout adjoining the A6. Take the 1st exit and continue southbound along the A6 to site.
Alternative Routes (Road Closures): Follow local diversions to proceed onto the A6 southbound, continue to the roundabout adjoining Clapham Road, Bedford, and then follow the above alternative route as appropriate.
