A temporary closure of Oakley Road has been requested for 14 - 15.12.13. Details as follows:-
Road: Oakley Road, Clapham.
Application From: Julian Kearsley – BAM Nuttall Ltd
Reason: For resurfacing and kerbing work.
Length Affected: From the roundabout on the west side of the A6 to the roundabout on the east side of the A6.
Dates: The closure is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours a day from 0700hrs Saturday 14th December 2013 to 2300hrs Sunday 15th December 2013 – Specific dates will be advertised locally closer to the time – No Access.
Please Note: Due to the nature of the work it will not be possible for emergency service vehicles to go through this closure.
Alternative Routes: From the west side of the A6, proceed along the A6 northbound on slip, join the A6 and continue north to the next off slip. Exit the A6 and continue to the roundabout adjoining Highfield Road, Oakley. Take the 2nd exit and continue eastwards to the A6 southbound on slip. Turn right, join the A6 and continue south to the next off slip. Exit the A6 and continue to the roundabout adjoining Oakley Road, Clapham.
From the east side of the A6, proceed along the A6 southbound on slip, join the A6 and continue south to the roundabout adjoining Clapham Road. Take the 4th exit onto the A6 northbound and continue to the next off slip. Exit the A6 and continue to the roundabout adjoining Oakley Road, Clapham.
