Carriageway maintenance works at Knights Avenue/Highbury Grove Clapham are included within this year's annual programme. Bedford BC is now carrying out detailed design and programming of this scheme. Currently the extent of the scheme is to resurface Knights Avenue/Highbury Grove from No35 Knights Avenue to No136 Highbury Grove. To facilitate this work a road closure will be required to complete the works. At this stage it is expected that site works will take place during Spring/Summer 2016.
On completion of the design, the scheme will be passed to Hanson Contracting to carry out the construction phase of the project. Bedford BC will contact us again prior to the start of the site works with the finalised programme dates and traffic management restrictions.
