From Monday 3rd April 2017 Bedford Borough Council will be making it easier for residents to recycle by placing stocks of Orange Recycling sacks at various locations across the Borough. The list of places the sacks will be available for residents to collect from is as follows:
Reception, Borough Hall, Cauldwell street, Bedford Customer Service Centre, Horne Lane, Bedford Bedford Central Library Putnoe Library Wootton Library Bromham Library Kempston Town Library
As part of a 3 month trial residents will no longer be able to request rolls of orange sacks to be delivered to them over the phone or via email/website. Those residents that receive an annual supply of sacks because their property cannot accommodate bins will continue to receive a delivery of sacks once a year.
