A temporary road closure is scheduled at the above locations to facilitate the renewal of existing water mains and services. Details are listed in the schedule below.

The alternative routes for diverted traffic are as shown below and will be signed accordingly. The restrictions are to be in operation in sections only when the necessary signs are erected on site. The Legal Order will be made to cover a six month period; however, it is anticipated that the closures will be in operation 24 hours a day between Tuesday 30^th May 2017 and Sunday 17^th September 2017 – Specific dates will be advertised locally closer to the time.

Please Note: Due to the nature of the work it will not be possible for emergency service vehicles to go through these closures.

Roads:                         Highbury Grove and Knights Avenue, Clapham.

Length Affected – Closure 1 (Highbury Grove/Knights Avenue): Closed in sections between High Street (Service Road) and Mount Pleasant Road.

Length Affected – Closure 2 (Knights Avenue): Between Mount Pleasant Road and number 31 Knights Avenue.
 

Please Note: These closures will not be in operation at the same time.

Dates:                           The closures are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours a day between Tuesday 30^th May 2017 and Sunday 17^th September 2017 – Specific dates will be advertised locally closer to the time – No Access.

Alternative Routes – Closure 1 (Highbury Grove/Knights Avenue): Proceed in a southerly direction along Highbury Grove to High Street. Turn right and continue to Mount Pleasant Road. Turn right and continue to site, and vice versa.

Alternative Routes – Closure 2 (Knights Avenue): Proceed in an easterly direction along Knights Avenue to Duke Drive. Turn left and continue to Knights Avenue. Turn left and continue to site, and vice versa.
