Road: Paula Radcliffe Way, Clapham/Bedford Road, Milton Ernest/Rushden Road, Milton Ernest/Rushden Road, Bletsoe (The A6)
Length Affected (1): From the northbound exit slip which leads to Highfield Road, Oakley, to the roundabout adjoining Thurleigh Road, Sharnbrook.
Length Affected (2): The full length of the northbound entry slip which leads from Highfield Road, Oakley, onto the main A6 dual carriageway.

Reason for Closure: To facilitate urgent carriageway resurfacing.
Date: This emergency temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation overnight only between 20:00 – 06:00 for up to 17 nights from 20:00 on Monday 11th March 2019 to 06:00 on Thursday 28th March 2019.
Signed Alternative Routes:
Southbound traffic should proceed in an easterly and then southerly direction along Thurleigh Road, Sharnbrook, to Milton Road, Thurleigh. Turn left and continue to Mill Road, Thurleigh. Turn right and continue along Mill Road and then Thurleigh Road, Ravensden, to the B660. Turn right and continue along the B660 and then Kimbolton Road, Bedford, to Brickhill Drive, Bedford. Turn right and continue along Brickhill Drive and then Manton Lane to the roundabout adjoining Clapham Road (the A6). Take the 3rd exit and continue north along the A6 to site.
Northbound traffic should exit the main A6 dual carriageway via the northbound exit slip which leads to Highfield Road, Oakley, and then continue to the roundabout at the top of the road. Take the 2nd exit and continue along Highfield Road across the A6 to the southbound entry slip, then re-join the main A6 southbound and follow the reverse of the above alternative route.”
