Wildflower meadow
It was great to see your village green partially transformed into a wildflower meadow on the BBC programme, but I'm sad to see from a newsletter on the internet that it has now been mown over! What a shame! Why was it not wanted?

Bees, Butterflies & Blooms
Just wanted to wish the village all the best in advance of programme 1 of Sarah Raven's new series. We understand Creaton is the village in "Villages, Farms & Countryside".
Harrogate is the town in programme 2, "Towns, Gardens & Britain in Bloom" so we know how excited/nervous you are probably feeling right now.
We'll be watching with interest.
