During this time of essential Social Distancing, normal Council meetings will not take place. (The Meeting scheduled for 16 March did not take place as it was impossible to get a quorum.)
The Government has passed legislation to permit “Virtual” meetings, which members of the public are welcome to “attend”.
Agendas for meetings will be published as usual on the Council website, parish-council.com/StowBedon, and will contain instructions on how to join the meeting.
The Parish Council normally (but not always) meets on the third Monday of the month. Meetings are only held in January and August if needed. Click here to see the planned schedule of meetings.
Unscheduled meetings may be called if necessary, and conversely meetings will not take place if there is no business to be conducted. It is, therefore, important to check for the meeting agenda, which will be published on this website and displayed on the four notice boards within the Parish about 5 days before a scheduled meeting.
Members of the public are welcome to attend Council Meetings, and there is always a public participation session where the public can raise any matter relevant to the Parish.
Meetings usually start at 7.30 p.m. and are normally held in Caston Village Hall, The Street, Caston, NR17 1DD.
