If you were present and have any pictures you would like to share with everyone (not just the residents of Stow Bedon & Breckles) please send them to the Chairman whose address can be found on the Councillors & Clerk page.

The hat was inspired by Margaret's mother who also used to sport a hat of similar design at fetes and functions. A picture of Margaret's mother wearing her hat was also worn with pride around Margaret's neck.

With so many excellent entries in the best hat category it was very difficult to choose, but this one obviously looks regal enough to warrant recognition by way of a medal, marks were given by everyone at the street party, hats of to everyone that entered....

This entrant was very lucky her cake ever got to the competition judging, as it was being eyed up as fair game by more than a few people, myself included! But happily made it to the competition unscathed.
